VirTra Systems Announces Dynalyst Contract with Freescale SemiconductorJanuary 25, 2006ARLINGTON, TX - January 25, 2006 - VirTra Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VTSI) today announced that Dynalyst Manufacturing Corporation, under contract to be merged into VirTra Systems, has recently been awarded a portion of Freescale Semiconductor's global 2006 $5-8 million printed circuit/load board fabrication business.
To date, Dynalyst has received sales orders from Freescale amounting to more than $35,000, with more orders expected in the near-term.
"We are excited that a chip manufacturer of Freescale's prominence has selected Dynalyst as one of its partners," commented T. Craig Takacs, Dynalyst's chief executive officer. "In addition to the orders recently received, we have already provided quotes on more than $110,000 in new orders. The impact of this open-end award on Dynalyst's 2006 revenue could potentially total over $1.5 million."
Freescale Semiconductor, the nation's third-largest chip maker (after Intel and Texas Instruments), was spun-off from Motorola in 2004. Dynalyst participated in Freescale's bidding process in late 2005, and was selected based on its "competitiveness in pricing and continued efforts on quality, delivery, and technology."
