
VirTra Systems Names Training DirectorFebruary 6, 2006ARLINGTON, TX - February 6, 2006 - VirTra Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: VTSI) today named Mr. Jack A. Nickel, Jr. as its director of training.
Mr. Nickel comes to VirTra Systems with more than 24 years of military experience as a video production specialist for the United States Air Force, responsible for developing training and archival motion media for the Air Force and Department of Defense.
"Mr. Nickel's military firearms experience, combined with his extensive combat videography background, will help create realistic training scenarios for our IVR™ simulators," commented L. Kelly Jones, VirTra Systems' chief executive officer. "His unique background will add significant depth to our scenario production initiatives in Phoenix, and will maintain VirTra Systems' scenario library up-to-date and relevant for training today's law enforcement and military personnel."
Mr. Nickel was a member of the 1st Combat Camera Squadron, out of Charleston Air Force Base, and saw combat in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Somalia, and also flew in 21 aerial combat sorties. With 24 years of distinguished military service and combat experience, Mr. Nickel was decorated with numerous medals and commendations, including the Air Force Meritorious Service Medal and Air Medal.
