The ultimate system for feeling immersed in a virtual environment, 360° head-tracking allows the user to look in any direction to view that perspective.
Photo-realism and computer-generated imagery are the two development methods for producing the 360° VR content. Nearly any virtual reality experience imaginable is possible.
For “real-life” photo-realistic applications, a specialized 360° spherical camera is used to capture the experience. 360° video combined with head-tracking will allow the user the freedom to look in any direction (including above, below, and behind) and see that perspective from within the virtual environment. Vibration in the seat as well as time-triggered smells, wind, and stereo sound complete the multi-sensory experience.
The VR seats have a very small footprint (approximately 2' x 3') and can be installed individually or arranged in multiple unit configurations. For multiple system configurations, operator can start an experience individually or all units at once from the press of a single button. Experiences can be easily swapped without changing hardware.
