.NET Developer

VirTra Systems is currently hiring a full-time .NET Developer.

Successful candidate will possess:

  • Understanding of .NET Framework primarily using C#
  • WPF 4.0, Prism 4 or MVVMLight experience preferred
  • Experience working with / and developing WCF Services
  • Relational Database experience (MSSQL Server/Oracle/MySQL)
  • Experience with SCRUM/AGILE development methodologies
  • Ability to debug complex and distributed runtimes
  • Demonstrated use of source control systems, TFS preferred
  • Experience with Dependency Injection practices preferred
  • Unit Testing experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a mixed team and communicate clearly
  • Any game development experience a plus

Quality Assurance/Quality Control

VirTra Systems is currently seeking to fill a Quality Assurance/ Quality Control position.

The QA/QC position tests proprietary firearm training simulation software during all stages of development and accurately records discrepancies in the project database.  Confirms resolution of issues and assures new patches and updates are functional.  This position also tests VirTra Systems firearm training simulators to ensure superior performance within all system components (software, hardware, electronics, and firearms) during all stages of development and production.  QA/QC position will develop and follow testing sequences and schedules to ensure all aspects of software, hardware, equipment and training scenarios are tested and functioning properly.  This position reports to an experienced Production Manager.

Position Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience testing software
  • Programming knowledge is desirable
  • Knowledge of Windows OS Troubleshooting (XP & Windows7)
  • Experience with PC Networking
  • Entry-level to mid-level electronics testing experience and desktop support desired
  • Proficiency with electronic components (UPS’s, computers, speakers, cameras, projectors, wiring, etc.)

  • Patience and ability to perform detailed testing for extended periods of time and consistently stay focused across multiple projects
  • Accurate and diligent data recording and data communication skills

Video / Film Production Coordinator

VirTra Systems is currently seeking an experienced Video or Film Production Coordinator to organize logistics for domestic and international video production teams.

Position details:

  • Work closely with in house video production department to coordinate and oversee the logistics of video shoots in the United States and around the world.
  • Communicate with contacts and coordinate shoots, helm auditions, talent hires and plan for resources on location
  • Help manage production deadlines with producer and director
  • Effectively channel information to crews on the road

Required Experience:

  • 3-5 years of production coordination experience
  • Successful Candidate would possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
  • Extremely detail oriented
  • Excellent phone skills
  • Ability to handle multiple ongoing shoots around the world

Additional Requirements:

Flexible work hours required.

Position requires the ability to travel up to 50% of the time within the U.S. and internationally.

DOD Coordinator, Business Development

VirTra Systems is seeking a Department of Defense Coordinator who will be responsible for organizational duties that align with the Orlando Executive Management vision.  This position may include, but will not be limited to, supporting the day-to-day operations of the Orlando management team including scheduling meetings and appointments, making travel arrangements, managing communications with customers and vendors, completing company required reporting in a timely manner, supporting Orlando office with financial reports including budgets, cost/quality control and expense reporting, and assisting with coordinating and attending trade shows as applicable.  The DOD Coordinator will report to the Vice President of DOD and Federal Division.

Position details:

  • Actively pursue and hunt for new product business opportunities in new accounts.
  • Network within the industry market and accounts to bring new product client contacts to the DOD Team.
  • Forge strong working relationships with Business Development Associates in the Orlando office.
  • Identify/develop key partner strategies for specific market segments.
  • Communicate effectively at all client levels, including Executive Company Officials.
  • Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements and fit partner consulting solutions around those specific needs.
  • Communicate process development.
  • Successfully coordinate all phases of the business development cycles to include proposal development, and client presentations.
  • Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and partner organizations.
  • Add industry specific and technology solution expertise to the capture management process.
  • Quota achievement is a fundamental responsibility of this position.
  • Responsible for Partner/Customer Advocacy focused on product sales and solutions.
  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business opportunities and revenue growth.
  • Assist in business plans in support of new partner programs and solutions.

Required Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Management
  • 5-7 years of experience required
  • MUST have at least three years knowledge and working experience of organizational and acquisition process of the US Army PEOSTRI.

Please note: Position is located primarily in Orlando, FL; however, some travel is to be expected.
